Description: In early 2006 BOMAC EAST Partners, Ltd., a partnership of Trinity Partners associates, acquired a vacant former Wal-Mart in Eastland, TX. Eastland is a small community of 10,000 people approximately 35 miles east of Abilene on Interstate 20. Wal-Mart had just completed and opened a new 100,000 sf Supercenter across the street from their former location. The vacant box was approximately 53,000 sf and an eyesore for the community. By the end of 2006, Trinity Partners transformed the former Wal-Mart into a 36,534 sf retail center leased with national credit tenants including Beall’s department store(13,475 s.f.), O’Reilly Auto Parts(6,600 s.f.), The Shoe Department(5,170 s.f.), Aaron’s Sales and Lease(7,329 s.f.), Check N Go(19,80 s.f.)., and AeroCare Holdings, Inc., (1,980 sf.) Today the project is 100% leased and the community is ecstatic about the new commerce in town as well as the attention to detail to the aesthetics of the shopping center.
